Most items in our web shop are collector bottlings of whisky and their condition may vary. We visually inspect every bottle and try our best to state their condition in the item description. We rate every bottles condition in according to the list below:
5 = mint condition - as new.
4 = minor flaws only – e.g., small scratches on bottle and/or packaging, light evaporation etc.
3 = some flaws – e.g., visible wear and tear and/or discoloring to bottle and/or packaging, visible evaporation etc.
2 = major flaws – e.g., significant wear and tear and/or major discoloring to bottle and/or packaging, major evaporation etc.
1 = at your own peril - we cannot vouch for neither the condition nor the content - for collectable purposes only - not for drinking!
Before shipping any bottles, we check them for any visible leaks. If a leak is discovered, we'll contact the buyer to agree on how to proceed.A full refund is always and option in case of leaks.
We also recommend our customers to inspect all photos of any bottle in the web shop before placing an order. If questions arise, please get in touch.
Furthermore, please be aware that not all bottles come with packaging, tubes or boxes and we don't consider that a flaw. What's in the item photos is what you get and what we rate.
Finally, our condition ratings aren't an exact science. There'll always be cases, where it's debatable whether to state a rate one above or below. We try our best and if in doubt, please contact us.
Our prices are listed in DKK (Danish Crowns) and include Danish VAT (currently 25%).
We reserve the right for printing and typing errors, outgoing goods, force majeure etc.
Our standard hourly price for consulting services is DKK 625 (DKK 500 excluding VAT). We invoice per started half hour.
In our web shop you can pay with your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). We accept credit card payments through Stripe Inc., (which is of course free of charge for you), and we do not charge your credit card until the time of shipment.
Payment via bank transfer is also possible. Our bank details are as follows:
At the moment we do not accept any other kind of payment.
Please contact us before returning any items.
You can return the product within 14 days of delivery. The product must be in new condition. If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number and a brief description of your case.
NOBS Distillery ApS suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed. NOBS Distillery ApS will make a refund of eligible returns. If you paid by invoice, we will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to. The easiest way is to e-mail it to us.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. Additional non-returnable items are: Gift cards, downloadable software products, some health and personal care items.
To return your product, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. You should mail your product to: NOBS Distillery ApS, Samsø, 8305, Besservej 50A, Denmark
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over DKK 500 you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable): Any bottle that has been opened. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you've done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at: info@nobsdistillery.com.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and if a replacement is in stock. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@nobsdistillery.com and send your item to: NOBS Distillery ApS, Samsø, 8305, Besservej 50A, Denmark
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and he will find out about your return.
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer's IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system, so that our website can present itself correctly.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
Our store is hosted by One.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through One.com's data storage, databases and the general One.com application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our third-party payment gateway might use your credit card info for that purpose. See §6.8.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
According to Danish law, we must not sell alcohol to children under the age of 18. We can only welcome that, which is why we require you to be at least 18 years old before you place an order in our web shop. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you are also of legal age to purchase alcohol in your own country before placing the beforementioned order.
Like all companies in Denmark that deal in food, we are subject to control by the Danish Food Agency. However, we only sell whisky and other spirits in intact packaging and are therefore not checked regularly due to the low risk of contamination of the original product.
When buying items at NOBS Distillery ApS or in our web shop, you have a 2-year right of complaint according to current Danish legislation. However, we’re not always able to fully compensate for defective items, as we only carry out a visual inspection of their exterior. Please always refer to the condition rating and photos of the items before placing an order.
If selling on commission, you must also be aware that we are only an intermediary for the sale and we do not accept any liability for the condition of the items purchased. Any complaint on items sold in commission must be addressed to the seller directly.
If you want to complain about a product or service purchased from us, you can submit a complaint to the Center for Complaint Resolution in the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution via https://www.forbrug.dk.
The European Commission's online complaints portal can also be used when submitting a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country.
